Aidan looks up to his Grandfather Gerdan, who is still the patriarch of his small clan. He has a lot of insight into the lives of his father and grandfather, because he spent a great deal of his education translating their journals into various languages. He admires the heroic deeds of Gerdan who lead his family to Cauldron and oversaw the building of their shrine.

Aidan has a typical dwarven response to alcohol. He is very good at holding his liquor, able to drink almost twice as much as the average human. When he does get drunk, it makes him slightly more paranoid and slightly more short-tempered than usual.

When Aidan has enough gold to buy a Masterwork Dwarven Waraxe, he will send it back to his family, and at the same time, he will inherit the Masterwork Dwarven Waraxe that has been handed down his family line. He is also possessive of his holy symbol, for obvious reasons.
