The group incorporates as Tarik's Company and investigates the disappearances. Clues lead them to the gnomish locksmith Keygan Ghelve. Ghelve's shop conceals a passage to an abandoned gnomish enclave, Jzadirune. Dark Ones from below kidnapped Ghelve's familiar and are holding it hostage. In exchange, Ghelve provided the dark ones with a master key that will open any lock he crafted. The dark ones now kidnap people from Cauldron. Tarik's Company heads down to Jzadirune to stop the menace.
