Made primary technical decisions for two 40-seat computer labs and a specialty library. Reduced testing and deployment time for new software/revisions from two weeks to three days. Performed a server consolidation using VMWare GSX Server. Implemented a disk-based backup system enabling a much shorter recovery from a worst-case scenario disaster.

Handled the complex schedule and secretarial needs of department chair. Coordinated interview schedules and travel arrangements for over 30 applicant interviews. Assisted the department administrator and head secretary. Provided transcription support for departmental dictation. Organized two 500-guest holiday parties.

Administrator of email, web, and shell servers from August 1999 to May 2000. Vice-President from August 2001 until graduation. Developed dynamic website. Planned group trip to Comdex 2001 in Chicago. Organized personnel for high school programming contests. Gave tutorials and seminars on new technologies. Worked with publisher O.Reilly and Associates to begin an ACM library.

Member of the Computer Fee, Academic Technology, and Instructional Technology Advisory Committees. Appointed by two concurrent student body presidents to act as a voice for student interests. Worked toward compromises to best use funds to satisfy campus computing needs. Surveyed and collated student opinions on technology.
